Amex Offers Travel Deals: $440 Worth of Savings on Hotels, Entertainment, and More

I’m a huge fan of Amex Offers. Almost every year, I manage to off-set the annual fees on various Amex credit cards with Amex Offers statement credits. Last month I took advantage of a Boxed offer, combining it with the new member referral discount to save almost 60% on essential purchases. This month, I’m noticing tons of great travel deals. While I don’t really have any travel plans that coincide with these deals, many of them are valid through fall 2017. If you haven’t done so already, be sure to log into your American Express credit card account and check for the following deals:

Save $440+ with Amex Offers travel deals

Amex Offers Hilton Deal: Spend $300, Get $60 Back

Get a $60 statement credit after spending at least $300 at participating Hilton or Curio properties. This offer is only valid at Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Curio hotels in the US & US territories.

Amex Offers Hilton UK Deal: Spend $500, Get $100 Back

Get a $100 statement credit after spending at least $500 at Hilton properties in the UK. Rooms must be booked directly through the hilton website, app, or by calling 1-800-HILTONS. This offer does not apply to advance purchase and non-refundable rates.

Amex Offers HotelStorm Deal: Spend $200, Get $50 Back

“Get a $50 statement credit each time you use your enrolled card to make a single purchase of $200 or more on a hotel stay through hotelstorm.com/amex.” What’s interesting about this offer is that there are seemingly no restrictions on the number of times it can be utilized. That’s awesome if you have multiple ~$200 bookings between now and mid-October.

Amex Offers Omni Hotels Deal: Spend $200, Get $50 Back

Get a $60 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend $300+ on room rate and room charges at Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Amex Offers Rover.com Deal: Spend $75, Get $30 Back

Get a one-time $30 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $75+ in one or more transactions online at Rover.com.

This may not seem like a “travel” deal, but if you’re traveling and can’t take your pets along, Rover can help you find a petsitter. Being able to save $30 on petsitting services means more money in your travel bank.

Amex Offers Hulu Deal: Spend $50, Get $50 Back

Spend a total of $50+ at hulu.com/start/amex and receive a $50 statement credit.

A hulu subscription can keep you entertained during your travels, with tons of great shows and original series. With the Hulu Amex Offers deal, you can get almost 4 – 6 months of free membership. That depends, of course, on whether you chose the Limited Commercials plan ($7.99) or the No Commercials Plan ($11.99). In my experience, the No Commercials plan is a total rip-off. About half the time you’ll get a notice that your program isn’t eligible for no commercials and you’ll have to sit through them like everyone else. No thanks.

Amex Offers AmexTravel Deal: Spend $600 Get $100 Back

I’m pretty sure I signed up for the spend $600, get $100 Amex Travel Deal. Either the deal expired, because I no longer see it in my saved offers section. Usually, expired deals still show up a few days later. Either this deal was pulled or it expired a long time ago. In any case, this is a pretty great deal you should definitely check for in your Amex Offers dashboard.

Have you taken advantage of any of these Amex Offers travel deals? If you were targeted for a great offer I didn’t list, please share below.

  1. “I’m pretty sure I signed up for the Spend $6000, Get $100 Back Amex Travel Deal.” (typo)

    Happy 4th!

  2. As a Hulu subscriber, i wish i had pulled the Hulu deal. I think the best Amex Offer I received was for 1 additional MR point on Whole Food purchases for the PRG card.

    • Maybe it’s because you used an Amex card to pay for your subscription. I didn’t personally get targeted, but my brother did so I signed him up (it’s for new members only), so it worked out alright.

      • I thought the idea was to not pay actual money for a hotel stay. Getting 25 off 100 is not a deal.

        • Sometimes you have to. I’m not crazy about the HotelStorm deal either but I might put the Hilton deal to use. Especially since it allows me to earn points (I think Hilton has that double points promo going on) and save money.

  3. My favorite was the spend $50 on Amazon and get 2,000 MR points. Also got it on my AU card. I bought 2 Amazon gift cards last week and got 4,000 MR points, which is just about enough for a short haul flight using BA Avios.
