In 1899, Charles H. Duell from the U.S. Patent office boldly declared, “Everything that can be invented, has been invented.”
When I started out with points and miles, it was right after the U.S. Mint scheme had been shut down, and I thought I would never have another mile-earning opportunity this great again. “Every mileage trick that can be invented has been invented…and shut down.”
Of course, this turned out not to be true, thanks to the ingenuous point-earning community and their propensity to share.
Recently, I thought of yet another way to earn points and miles that many aren’t aware of. It’s actually something I’ve been doing for many years, but never thought of as a point-earning activity until now. It hit me that this is the perfect way to truly earn free points. There may even be some reimbursable travel involved.
I hope I’m not overselling it, but this could be a game-changer. I will be posting more on Monday, but if you have any idea what it could be, feel free to guess in the comment section. If you guess correctly, there is a prize involved, which I can’t reveal without giving the whole thing away. I hope I’ve got your full attention…
wawa,nice to hear that
By paying your friend.
@ Deep, nice try, but no. 🙂
I look forward to this post. It’s tough to guess without at least a bit of a hint 😛
Just keep in mind that some people do know certain tips but it’s difficult to share unless there is a limit built into the program, else it’s easy to get shut down. FrequentMiler’s post on 5x AMEX Prepaid is a perfect example of how to promote a lucrative offer while reinforcing the limits and consequences of pushing a deal to the max.
@ Amol, there is no “limit.” In fact, there is absolutely no way to abuse this opportunity. You’re actually rewarded, the more you participate.
This probably isn’t what you meant, but buying/selling things is a potentially infinite way to earn points, and hopefully earn a profit along the way. You are only limited by your ability to source products that can be sold for a profit, the number of units you can move, and the time you have to invest in the venture.
@ Ki7roy, it’s a great way to earn points. You can find legitimate sellers on Alibaba & Tradekey willing to let you use a credit card/paypal for wholesale purchases. But that’s not what it is. 🙂
I have no clue but excited to read about what it is 🙂
Sorry to keep you all waiting. Just a couple more hours until I finish the post during my lunch break.
