Hotel discounts available through Club1 Hotels

I once called Club1 the best travel booking site and that hasn’t changed. I once saved $1,300 by booking my stay at the Nizuc Cancun Resort through Club1 Hotels.

You can routinely find 50% off at the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos through the site.

Since I’ve already shared examples of the discounts found at well-known chain hotels in previous posts, I thought I’d compare Club1’s rates at a brand new resort in Los Cabos: The all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel.

Save $1,000+ at the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos

The Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos is a fairly new all-inclusive resort offering some pretty incredible perks. In addition to food and drinks, the hotel is offering “limitless all-inclusive” amenities to guests staying at the resort through December 20, 2019. This includes spa treatments, photoshoots, tours and activities.

It’s not totally clear if these extra amenities are available to all guests or just those who book through the hotel directly. I saw this package advertised through Travelzoo a few weeks ago, so there’s a chance it will be extended to all guests.

Is the Club1 discount worth possibly foregoing the limitless all-inclusive benefits? Possibly. I found rates that were $1,000 less than the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos website.

Searching January 6 – 10, 2020, the cheapest room on the Hard Rock Los Cabos website is a Junior  Suite that goes $3,129 for four nights.

The same room can be booked for $2,703.21 for four nights – that’s a saving of $425.79. This doesn’t even include the 7% discount code offered to blog readers for the next two weeks.

That discount is applied when you enter the promo code and check out. But based on the $2,392.22 pre-tax rate, it could total around $167.

There’s an even bigger discount through Club1 for a room type that doesn’t even appear on the Hard Rock website. The  Deluxe Gold King room can be booked for $2,084.40 for four nights.

That’s $1,055.60 cheaper than booking the Junior Suite through the Hard Rock Los Cabos website. Again, this excludes the 7% discount.

Guaranteed discounts through Club1 Hotels

Club1 guarantees a minimum nightly discount:

  • $10 per night guaranteed savings at 3-star hotels up to $20
  • $15 per night guaranteed savings at 4-star hotels up to $45
  • $20 per night guaranteed savings at 5-star hotels up to $60 or up to $100 on reservations $900 or more

This guarantee isn’t restricted to hotels. Book a cruise through Club1 and if you find the same cabin for less on another travel site, Club1 will beat the rate by 5%. Be sure to read up on the best rate guarantee for additional restrictions.

Final thoughts on Club1’s free membership

If you have upcoming travel plans that include hotel stays, you could save a lot by comparing rates on Club1 Hotels. It’s absolutely worth it to sign up for a free 1-year Club1 Hotel membership and see if you can save some cash on your upcoming stay.

Between the 7% discount on all travel bookings (valid for the next two weeks) and price guarantees, you’re sure to save substantially.

Please note, that I will receive a small commission for every person who signs up for a free Club Hotels membership.

  1. I think many if not most of us doing the Point Chasing thing prefer to not spend money. It’s about the points, hence, Pointchaser.

  2. Ariana, I’ve been reading your blogs for some times now and learned a lot. Thank you. I may or may not use Club1 but I still signed up for it. It doesn’t cost me anything and it may help you a little bit. So why not. Thanks again and keep blogging. 🙂
