Saturday is National Museum Day and if you’re super excited about the prospect of museum-hopping on a Saturday night, you’re in luck. Over 1400 museums, art galleries, cultural centers, and botanical gardens throughout the country are offering free admission.
In order to get your free tickets, you’ll have to fill out the Museum Day Live! form and indicate which participating museum you’d like to visit. You’ll receive a ticket via email, which is good for up to two people. Keep in mind that only one person per household can take advantage of this offer.
There are actually some decent museums participating, including the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, the California Science Center in Los Angeles, and dozens of others in major cities nationwide.
Whether you’re out traveling or staying in for the weekend, this is a great way to make your weekend better with a free activity.
