Giveaway time: Win one of three $100 gift cards!

I’ve had a pretty great two weeks: Not only did I leave my long-term side hustle for greener pastures, but I’ve also experienced a huge traffic boost recently. Lots of new and returning readers have been reading, sharing and helping the site grow. So I figured this was the perfect time to celebrate new milestones with a giveaway!

Pointchaser $100 gift card giveaway

I asked folks in the PointChaser FB group what kind of prizes they’d want to win and got some great suggestions.

While I can’t raffle off any miles (Hey Chase, if you’re reading this, hit me up!), I figured gift cards are always a safe bet. One of my readers suggested giving away a “surprise” in the mail. I think that’s a terrific idea and something I’ll do for the 7-year blog anniversary this fall.

In the meantime, I’m giving away three $100 e-gift cards on various channels through the end of the week. Winner’s pick. Here’s what you need to do to win:

Giveaway Rules

You can enter each giveaway as often as you want. Final entries must be submitted by 11:00 PM (PT) on Sunday, June 2.

Winners for the Twitter and Blog giveaway will be randomly chosen using random.org. All winners will be announced via blog post the following day.

Winners will have three days to claim their prize. Those who do not respond in time will forfeit their prize and someone else will be chosen instead.

  1. I’m so happy for you!

I’d like to see more posts about the awesome places you’ve travelled to! I’m sure you’ve travelled a lot more than the average person would do!

    Cheers!

  2. That’s very nice of you to think of your readership and offer gifts! I particularly enjoyed reading about your time in Calais, etc. How does one find out about such possibilities?

  3. I am always interested in new ways to earn points or places to spend VGC. I live in a major city where there are few options and no WM. Keep up the good work!

  4. MS opportunities that don’t include Walmart and money orders (unfortunately, those are not available to me).

  5. How to liquidate all these VGCs? Walmart in northern NJ will not allow a MO purchase with them, neither will Acme.

I don’t even remember how I found out about your blog! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. I have enjoyed learning and using your tips. Now that I am retired point chasing is my new hobby. Sometimes on our cross country road trips, we just need to pay the fees for our do.

  7. More destination reports like your Istanbul series, redemption tips, whatever you find interesting!

  8. Hey Ariana! I want to see posts about any new MS opportunities (unless they are too top secret to share). Many of the reliable ones are dead.

  9. I’d like to see suggestions on finding deeply discounted or mistake airfares. You have great content on MS, but I could also use help in stretching miles once earned. Great blog!

  10. Great site and always have readers interests in mind, you are often responsive to readers’ questions.
I would like to read more about your flight redemptions, hotel stayed, interesting food places selected, and finally, what cards you use during your travel.
Keep up the good work, we love you!!!

  11. I enjoy reading everything about MS. I especially like the monthly report of your details of MS. All the other posts are a great use of info. Love what and how you do it. Keep up the good work.

  12. I’d like to hear more about redemptions now that many airlines have discontinued award charts.

  13. This give away is so sweet. I’ve been a long time reader but just heard in today’s post about your FB group. Tell us more about it and how do we sign up?

  14. I’d like you to post more about the difficulties we’re having every year and how to improve the game.

  15. How to refer friends and get them over the hurdle of thinking this whole credit card thing is “too good to be true”

  16. Happy for you! I’ve always like your hotel reviews and stayed at the Hyatt in Thessaloniki based on them. But also love the MS topics.

  17. Really happy to have found your blog. Really enjoy reading about MS. Looking forward to your guide that you’re working on. Thanks for sharing!!!

  18. i’ll like to see more posts about how expats can do MS or get points when they visit the US for a brief visit

  19. I would like to read more on sweet spot award redemptions..now that we know how to MS..it would be good to know how to spend those miles best.

  20. I would love to see more posts about value points and miles as opposed to luxury. So often people focus on first class and luxury suites, but points still go farther if you fly economy and book more reasonable hotels. Ways to stretch your points the farthest make the most sense to me.

  21. I got hooked on your blog when you detailed the Hawaiian Airlines search toolbar before the plug was pulled on it. Would love to see more easy miles/points opportunities like that.

  22. I would like more stories on either where and when to NOT use points, as well as experiences where using points was more trouble than it is worth.

  23. GetToThePoints

An article summarizing all minimum spend requirements for various credit card benefits annually.

  24. I’d love to hear more about your trips. I know it is a hassle to write up a trip report, so even some basic details of the destination would be interesting.

  25. Melinda Armani

I would love to read more about point stacking and travel partner transfer opportunities.

  26. Like many others, any “underground’ MS / non-Walmart liquidation techniques the pros use.
    Especially the non-Walmart part. Thanks

  27. GetToThePoints

Boarding order and process for the main US airlines. It is confusing for so many it seems.

  28. Liz Shepard

how do we get a good price on hotel accommodation (4 star) on some countries

  29. In kindergarten terms, the difference between manufactured spend and organic spend. Along with examples please.
