This Tuesday, November 5 at 10:00 AM (PT)/1:00 PM (ET) I’m co-hosting The Road Less Traveled (#TRLT) twitter chat with Shane Dallas and Savannah Grace. If you’ve been to an unusual travel destination or simply want to read about other people’s experiences traveling off the beaten path, this is going to be one chat you don’t want to miss out on.
As some of you know, I’ve traveled to Afghanistan several times and it was a rewarding experience that reignited by desire to travel. My co-hosts share this desire for the road less traveled.
Shane is a seasoned traveler who has been to far-off places, including Iraq and Yemen. He even visited the Wakhan Corridor in Northeast Afghanistan and has some amazing photos on his blog, documenting the experience. Savannah has traveled to 99 countries with her family, and wrote “I Grew My Boobs in China” about her travels.
There are many travel chats on Twitter, each offering something different. We want to hone in on overlooked countries and highlight what makes them unique and worth visiting. Have a favorite travel destination that you think should receive more attention? Want to learn about new destinations to add to your travel bucket list? Then join us on Tuesday, November 5 at 10:00 AM (PT)/1:00 PM (ET) for the #TRLT travel chat.
