Booking Hyatt Privé hotels is a great way to add value to your stay without elite status or booking more expensive packages. Hyatt Privé is a special program that extends exclusive perks at select Hyatt hotels. Participating hotels offer perks typically reserved for elite members, along with extras like on-site credits and free nights.

The Hyatt Privé rates are often the same as Hyatt’s standard rate and can only be booked through a Privé travel advisor. While booking through Privé makes sense if you’re getting hundreds of dollars in perks, you should always compare them against Hyatt’s member rate and any other packages on offer. 

I recently booked a Hyatt Privé hotel for the first time through my friend Jon Nicke-D’Andrea, who is a Flora Travel agent. The Hyatt Privé rate ended up being lower than Hyatt’s, and I got hundreds of dollars in perks, so I was very happy with the experience. So much so that I’ll probably check in with Jon before booking any Hyatt hotel. These rates earn points and elite night credits, making this step a no-brainer.
