Points and miles beginner’s guide: Dining rewards programs

Nearly every loyalty program mentioned in this guide offers a dining rewards program. You simply sign up, register your credit card, and receive points when you dine at select restaurants within the network. Keep in mind that while you can register for every single one of these programs, you cannot register a single card with more than one program.

You will earn bonus points on your first dine, usually when you spend or more. See below for a list of Dining Rewards Programs and their bonus point offers.

❑ Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Dining. Earn 500 bonus miles after your first $30 purchase within 30 days of sign-up. Must complete a review within 30 days of dining.

• Earn up to 5 miles per $1

❑ American Airlines AAdvantage Dining. Earn 2,000 bonus miles after your first $30 purchase within 30 days of sign-up. Must complete a review within 30 days of dining.

• Earn up to 5 miles per $1

❑ Delta Skymiles Dining. Earn 2,000 bonus miles after your first $30 purchase within 30 days of sign-up. Must complete a review within 30 days of dining.

• Earn up to 5 miles per $1

❑ Southwest Rapid Rewards Dining. Earn 1,000 bonus points after your first $25 purchase within 30 days of sign-up. Must complete a review within 30 days of dining.

• Earn 3 points per $1
• Earn 10 points per restaurant review

❑ United Airlines Mileage Plus Dining. Earn 1,500 bonus miles after your first $30 purchase within 30 days of sign-up. Must complete a review within 30 days of dining.
